Baruch ata Adonai Eloheinu melech  ha olam

asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav

v'tzivanu l'kadeish et yom ha shabbat

 

Blessed are you , Adonai our G-d,

King of the universe

Who sanctified us with His commandments

and commanded us to sanctify the Sabbath day.
